We are 3 founders – Neena Arora & Suchitra Parikh based in India, & Priya Krishnaswamy based in USA.
3 Peepul Productions was formed as a limited liability partnership company, on 16th February 2021.
Our team comprises of our Communications Head, Smruthi Krishnan, & our Design Consultant Phiroza Cama, both based in India, along with filmmakers & collaborators in India, UK & USA.
Since inception, 3 Peepul Productions has produced a feature film, an award-winning short film and documentary, along with several micro-short films and ad films, and a slew of films in the pipeline.

behind our name ‘3 Peepul Productions’ – & it reflects
our vision as a film
production house.
Our name draws inspiration from the Peepul tree, which is native to the Indian subcontinent. With its distinctive tree trunk & heart shaped leaves, the Peepul tree has a very long lifespan, ranging between 900 to 1,500 years. These trees are very adaptive, resilient & tolerant to various climate zones & soils.
The Peepul tree (also known by other names such as Bodhi tree, Peepal tree, or Ficus Religiosa) is considered sacred in the 3 major religions originating in the Indian subcontinent, Hinduism, Buddhism & Jainism. This is also the tree under which Gautam Buddha is believed to have attained enlightenment.
Our name fits us perfectly.
