We are three co-founders of an impact films production company, called 3 Peepul Productions. We’re friends and women producers, based in Vadodara, India and Austin, USA.

We’ve all come across this famous quote by Thomas Alva Edison, who said, “Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.”

At 3 Peepul, we ask ourselves yet another question – “What is the long-term impact that we can and want to make?

At 3 Peepul Productions, we are a women-led company, with 3 women at the helm. We bring to the table over 30 years of experience each – a mind boggling total of 90 years in varied fields.

In our daily lives, we are all motivated or driven- either by our anxieties and fears, or by our hopes and dreams. Our anxieties and fears are a negative stimulus, while our hopes and dreams are a positive stimulus.

As women producers in a male dominated industry, we recognize the importance to find our voice and use it to bring impactful stories to the screen and audience.

In today’s world, women-led businesses are on the rise, with many start-ups and established companies being led by women as CEOs and in senior management positions- and why not?

In today’s day and age, people’s attention span has decreased with the increase in access to information provided by the internet. So nowadays, video advertising is far more successful in capturing a consumer’s attention than the static forms of before.

As Producers, we’ve discovered that learning never stops, and it never should. The day we stop learning is the day we start stagnating, and it’s time to hang up our boots or sandals, or in our case flip-flops!

While some actors have said that acting is a lonely experience; on the other hand, filmmaking is a team effort, where collaboration is key to success.
